Organic Baby Clothing MIDDLETOWN

Back before I had my baby, I never imagined I would be part of a mothers group. Be that as it may, now that I am finally a mother, chatting to other women about what is going on in my life has been a huge help. We chat about how we deal with our children, what to do and not to do, we share meal plans, and we love to discuss the newest baby outfits we have purchased.

I more often than not go out with 4 other mothers, once a fortnight, to find out the latest gossip. We generally meet at Jimmy Valentines Catering (which is in MIDDLETOWN, OH) as that is pretty central for all of us. Last time was particularly eye opening as we talked about organic baby clothes. I have been providing my baby girl organic meals from the beginning but I had never thought about getting organic clothing for her.

Cotton is one of the most popular products in the world and one of the most ruinous to the environment and to farm employees. The run off from cotton farms has damaged habitats and particularly water bodies. Organic cotton is made without using artificial fertilisers and chemicals. Instead, organic farming depends on things like crop rotation, enhancing soils naturally, and using organic pest control techniques.

Benefits of Organic Clothing

Getting organic clothes means you are purchasing products which have been produced in an environmentally friendly manner, or at least in a way which causes less damage to soils and waterways. No or reduced use of herbicides and fertilizers means less pollution of our farms and rivers, reduced health problems for farm workers, and fewer health risks for children by reducing their contact with toxic chemicals.

A number of wholesalers of baby clothes also make a range of organic items or you can find stores completely devoted to organic baby clothing. Anyway, there are a lot of brands to choose from and all ages are catered for, from infants to adolescents. Obviously, organic clothes for men and women is also obtainable and I am looking into that for myself and my partner.

I would not go as far to say that I am only going to get organic cotton or bamboo clothes (which is a good alternative to regular or organic cotton) for my child but I am absolutely going try to whenever I can.
