Organic Baby Clothing MIAMI
Filed Under (Organic Baby Clothes) by Kaye on 19-08-2009
Long before I had my baby, I had not imagined I would join a mothers group. Anyhow, now that I am a new mother, chatting to other mothers about what is taking place in my life has really helped me. We talk about how we bring up our children, what to do and not to do, we share recipes, and we enjoy being able to talk about the most recent baby fashions we have bought.
I generally get together with 4 other mothers, once a month, to find out the latest happenings. We generally meet at Latin American Cafeteria (which is in MIAMI, FL) as that is fairly central for all of us. Last week was more exciting seeing we discussed organic baby clothing. I have been providing my baby organic meals from day one but it had never crossed my mind to getting organic clothing for her.
Cotton is one of the most popular products in America and one of the most ruinous to the environment and to farmers. The run off from these farms has damaged the environment and particularly water bodies. Organic cotton is grown without the need for artificial fertilisers and insecticides. Rather, organic farming depends upon things like crop rotation, enhancing soils naturally, and using organic insect control practices.
You can purchase soft organic cotton baby apparel online from a number of shops. Sckoon has some beautiful organic baby clothes.

Benefits of Organic Clothing
Purchasing organic clothes means you are purchasing products which have been produced in an eco-friendly manner, or at least in a way which causes less contamination of soils and waterways. No or less use of herbicides and synthetic fertilisers means less pollution of our land and lakes, fewer health problems for farm employees, and fewer health risks for our babies and children by lessening their contact with potentially dangerous chemicals.
Several retailers of baby clothes also sell a range of organic clothes or you can find stores solely committed to organic baby clothing. Either way, there are a lot of brands to choose from and all ages are provided for, from toddlers to adolescents. Of course, organic clothes for men and women is also available and I am looking into that for myself and my husband.
I am not saying that I am only going to get organic cotton or bamboo clothing (which is a great alternative to regular or organic cotton) for my baby but I am absolutely going try to whenever possible.
