Long before I had my children, I never imagined I would belong to a mothers group. Anyhow, now that I am finally a mum, being able to talk to other mothers about what is taking place in my life has really helped me. Getting organic clothes means you are getting clothes which have been produced in an eco-friendly manner, or at least in a way which causes less contamination of the environment. No or a reduction in the use of pesticides and fertilisers means less pollution of our farms and rivers, less diseases for farm employees, and fewer health risks for children by moderating their contact with toxic chemicals.

Anyway, there are a lot of marks to choose from and all ages are catered for, from infants to older children. I would not go as far to say that I am only ever going to purchase organic cotton or bamboo clothes (which is a good alternative to regular or organic cotton) for my children but I am absolutely going try to whenever possible.
