Back before I had my first child, I never believed I would be part of a mothers group. However, now that I am a new mother, talking to other women about what is happening in my life has really helped me. We chat about how we raise our children, what to do and not to do, we share recipes, and we enjoy being able to discuss the latest baby clothes we have picked up.

Benefits of Organic Clothing

Purchasing organic clothing means you are buying produce which have been produced in an eco-friendly manner, or at a minimum in a way which causes less pollution of the environment. No or less use of insecticides and fertilisers means less pollution of our soils and rivers, fewer health problems for farm employees, and fewer health risks for our babies and children by reducing their contact with toxic chemicals.

Many wholesalers of baby clothes also make a range of organic clothing or you can find wholesalers entirely devoted to organic baby clothing. Either way, there are a lot of marks to choose from and all ages are catered for, from babies to teenagers. Naturally, organic clothes for men and women is also obtainable and I am looking into that for myself and my partner.

I would not go as far to say that I am only going to get organic cotton or bamboo cotton clothing (which is an amazing alternative to regular or organic cotton) for my baby but I am most definitely going try to whenever possible.
