Organic Baby Clothing MANASSAS

Before I had my first child, I never thought I would be part of a mothers group. Be that as it may, now that I am finally a mum, being able to talk to other mothers about what is going on in my life has been a huge help. We chat about how we bring up our children, what to do and not to do, we share baby food recipes, and we love to chat about the latest baby clothes we have picked up.
I usually go out with 3 other parents, once a week, to catch up on the latest gossip. We generally meet at New China Oven (which is in MANASSAS, VA) as that is pretty central for all of us. Last month was really eye opening as we chatted about baby clothes. I have been providing my baby organic produce from day one but I had never thought about purchasing organic clothing for her.
Cotton is one of the most popular products in the world and one of the most ruinous to the environment and to farm workers. The run off from non-organic cotton farms has damaged habitats and particularly water bodies. Organic products are made without the need for artificial fertilisers and chemicals. Instead, organic farming relies on things like crop rotation, improving soils naturally, and using organic pest control techniques.
You can buy soft organic cotton baby clothes online from a number of retailers. Sckoon has some gorgeous organic baby clothes.

Benefits of Choosing Organic Products
Purchasing organic clothes means you are getting produce which have been produced in an eco-friendly manner, or at a minimum in a way which causes less pollution of soils and waterways. No or reduced use of herbicides and synthetic fertilisers means less pollution of our soils and rivers, reduced health problems for farm employees, and fewer health risks for children by reducing their contact with potentially dangerous chemicals.
A number of wholesalers of baby clothes also produce a range of organic clothes or you can find wholesalers entirely devoted to organic baby clothes. Thankfully, there are a lot of brands to choose from and all ages are catered for, from babies to teenagers. Obviously, organic clothing for men and women is also available and I am looking into that for myself and my husband.
I would not go as far to say that I am only going to purchase organic cotton or bamboo cotton clothing (which is a good alternative to regular or organic cotton) for my baby but I am absolutely going try to whenever possible.
