Organic Baby Clothing LORAIN

Long before I had my children, I never imagined I would be part of a mothers group. However, now that I have become a mum, being able to talk to other parents about what is taking place in my life has been a huge help. We talk about how we raise our children, what to do and not to do, we share meal plans, and we enjoy being able to chat about the most recent baby outfits we have bought.
I more often than not go out with 3 other women, once a fortnight, to catch up on the latest gossip. We often meet at Scorchers Casual Eatery & Draft House (which is in LORAIN, OH) as that is fairly central for all of us. Last month was really interesting because we discussed baby clothes. I have been feeding my baby girl organic food from day one but I had not considered purchasing organic clothing for her.
Cotton is one of the most widely grown plants in the world and one of the most harmful to the environment and to farmers. The run off from cotton farms has destroyed ecosystems and in particular water ways. Organic products are produced without the need for artificial fertilisers and insecticides. Instead, organic farming depends upon things like crop rotation, improving soils naturally, and using organic insect control techniques.
Benefits of Organic Clothing
Purchasing organic clothes means you are buying clothes which have been produced in an environmentally friendly manner, or at a minimum in a way which causes less contamination of our habitat. No or less use of insecticides and fertilizers means less pollution of our soils and waterways, fewer cancers for farmers, and fewer health risks for our children by reducing their contact with toxic chemicals.
Many producers of baby clothes also produce a range of organic clothes or you can find shops entirely committed to organic baby clothes. Thankfully, there are a lot of brands to choose from and all ages are catered for, from infants to teenagers. Naturally, organic clothing for men and women is also accessible and I am looking into that for myself and my man.
I do not think that I am only going to get organic cotton or bamboo cotton clothing (which is a great alternative to regular or organic cotton) for my child but I am without a doubt going try to whenever it is available.
