Organic Baby Clothing LONDON

Long before I had my children, I had not believed I would belong to a mothers group. Anyhow, now that I am finally a new mother, being able to talk to other women about what is happening in my life has benefited me immensely. We discuss how we raise our children, what to do and not to do, we share meal plans, and we enjoy being able to discuss the most recent baby clothes we have bought.

I generally get together with 4 other women, once a month, to hear about the latest gossip. We often meet at Choctaw Pizza Post (which is in LONDON, OH) as that is quite central for all of us. Last week was particularly eye opening seeing we discussed baby clothes. I have been giving my baby organic meals from the beginning but it had never crossed my mind to purchasing organic clothing for her.

Cotton is one of the most popular plants in America and one of the most harmful to the ecosystem and to farm workers. The run off from cotton farms has ruined habitats and particularly water ways. Organic products are produced without using artificial fertilisers and insecticides. Instead, organic farming depends on things like crop rotation, enhancing soils naturally, and using eco friendly pest control techniques.

You can purchase beautiful organic baby clothing online from a number of retailers. Sckoon is my favourite for organic baby clothes.

Benefits of Organic Clothing

Purchasing organic produce means you are buying products which have been produced in an eco-friendly manner, or at the very least in a way which causes less pollution of soils and waterways. No or less use of insecticides and synthetic fertilisers means less pollution of our soils and waterways, less health problems for farmers, and fewer health risks for our babies and children by lessening their contact with dangerous chemicals.

Many makers of baby clothes also sell a range of organic clothes or you can find shops completely devoted to organic baby clothes. Thankfully, there are a lot of marks to choose from and all ages are catered for, from infants to teenagers. Obviously, organic clothing for men and women is also available and I am looking into that for myself and my partner.

I do not think that I am only ever going to get organic cotton or bamboo clothes (which is an excellent alternative to regular or organic cotton) for my child but I am without a doubt going try to whenever I can.
