Long before I had my first child, I never imagined I would join a mothers group. However, now that I have become a mum, chatting to other mothers about what is happening in my life has benefited me immensely. Purchasing organic clothes means you are getting produce which have been produced in an eco-friendly manner, or at least in a way which causes less damage to our habitat. No or less use of insecticides and synthetic fertilisers means less pollution of our soils and rivers, less cancers for farm employees, and fewer health risks for our children by moderating their contact with toxic chemicals.

Thankfully, there are a lot of brands to choose from and all ages are taken care of, from toddlers to teenagers. Naturally, organic fashion for men and women is also obtainable and I am looking into that for myself and my husband.

I am not saying that I am only ever going to get organic cotton or bamboo clothes (which is an amazing alternative to regular or organic cotton) for my child but I am without a doubt going try to whenever it is available.
