Organic Baby Clothing LAKE WALES

Before I had my first child, I never imagined I would be part of a mothers group. However, now that I am a new mother, talking to other parents about what is going on in my life has been a huge help. We chat about how we bring up our children, what to do and not to do, we share baby food recipes, and we like to discuss the most recent baby fashions we have picked up.
I more often than not meet with 2 other women, once a fortnight, to find out the latest happenings. We usually meet at Bistro 253 (which is in LAKE WALES, FL) as that is fairly central for all of us. Last month was more interesting as we discussed organic baby clothing. I have been providing my baby organic produce from day one but it had never crossed my mind to buying organic clothing for her.
Cotton is one of the most widely grown crops in the world and one of the most harmful to the habitat and to farm employees. The run off from non-organic cotton farms has destroyed ecosystems and in particular water ways. Organic cotton is made without the need for artificial fertilisers and insecticides. Instead, organic farming depends upon things like crop rotation, raising the quality of soils naturally, and using organic insect control methods.
Benefits of Choosing Organic Products
Buying organic produce means you are purchasing produce which have been produced in an eco-friendly manner, or at the very least in a way which causes less damage to our habitat. No or a reduction in the use of herbicides and synthetic fertilisers means less pollution of our farms and lakes, fewer diseases for farm employees, and fewer health risks for our babies and children by reducing their contact with dangerous chemicals.
Many retailers of baby clothes also produce a range of organic clothing or you can find stores solely devoted to organic baby fashion. Anyway, there are a lot of brands to choose from and all ages are provided for, from toddlers to adolescents. Obviously, organic clothing for men and women is also obtainable and I am looking into that for myself and my man.
I would not go as far to say that I am only ever going to purchase organic cotton or bamboo clothing (which is a great alternative to regular or organic cotton) for my children but I am most definitely going try to whenever it is available.
