Back before I had my first child, I never thought I would belong to a mothers group. However, now that I am a mum, chatting to other mothers about what is going on in my life has been a huge help. Getting organic products means you are buying products which have been produced in an eco friendly manner, or at least in a way which causes less pollution of the environment. No or less use of herbicides and synthetic fertilisers means less pollution of our soils and rivers, reduced cancers for farm workers, and fewer health risks for our babies and children by reducing their contact with toxic chemicals.

Thankfully, there are a lot of marks to choose from and all ages are provided for, from toddlers to teenagers. Of course, organic fashion for men and women is also obtainable and I am looking into that for myself and my man.

I do not think that I am only going to buy organic cotton or bamboo clothing (which is a great alternative to regular or organic cotton) for my child but I am definitely going try to whenever it is available.
