Long before I had my first child, I had not believed I would belong to a mothers group. Anyhow, now that I have become a mother, talking to other parents about what is happening in my life has benefited me immensely. We discuss how we bring up our children, what to do and not to do, we share recipes, and we love to chat about the latest baby clothes we have bought.
I generally go out with 3 other parents, once a fortnight, to find out the latest happenings. I have been giving my baby boy organic meals from the start but it had never crossed my mind to purchasing organic clothing for her.

Benefits of Choosing Organic Products
Purchasing organic produce means you are buying produce which have been produced in an eco friendly manner, or at least in a way which causes less damage to the environment. No or a reduction in the use of pesticides and synthetic fertilisers means less pollution of our land and waterways, less health problems for farm employees, and fewer health risks for our children by reducing their contact with potentially dangerous chemicals.
A number of producers of baby clothes also sell a range of organic items or you can find wholesalers solely dedicated to organic baby fashion. Anyway, there are a lot of designs to choose from and all ages are catered for, from babies to older children. Naturally, organic clothing for men and women is also accessible and I am looking into that for myself and my husband.
I would not go as far to say that I am only ever going to buy organic cotton or bamboo clothing (which is an excellent alternative to regular or organic cotton) for my child but I am without a doubt going try to whenever I can.
