Organic Baby Clothing KULPMONT

Back before I had my children, I had not imagined I would join a mothers group. However, now that I am finally a mother, chatting to other mothers about what is happening in my life has benefited me immensely. We talk about how we raise our children, what to do and not to do, we share recipes, and we love to discuss the most recent baby outfits we have purchased.

I usually get together with 4 other mothers, once a fortnight, to hear about the latest happenings. We usually meet at Charles Dickens Pub (which is in KULPMONT, PA) as that is pretty central for all of us. Last week was really exciting seeing we discussed organic baby clothes. I have been giving my baby organic meals from the start but it had never crossed my mind to buying organic clothing for her.

Cotton is one of the most popular crops in the world and one of the most ruinous to the environment and to farm workers. The run off from cotton farms has destroyed the environment and particularly water supplies. Organic cotton is produced without the use of artificial fertilisers and chemicals. Rather, organic farming relies on things like crop rotation, raising the quality of soils naturally, and using organic pest control techniques.

You can buy soft organic cotton baby apparel online from a number of shops. Sckoon has some beautiful organic baby clothes.

Benefits of Organic Baby Clothing

Getting organic clothes means you are getting produce which have been produced in an eco-friendly manner, or at the very least in a way which causes less damage to the environment. No or reduced use of insecticides and fertilizers means less pollution of our soils and rivers, reduced cancers for farm employees, and fewer health risks for our children by reducing their contact with potentially dangerous chemicals.

A number of makers of baby clothes also sell a range of organic clothes or you can find companies entirely dedicated to organic baby fashion. Either way, there are a lot of designs to choose from and all ages are catered for, from infants to teenagers. Obviously, organic clothes for men and women is also available and I am looking into that for myself and my partner.

I would not go as far to say that I am only going to get organic cotton or bamboo cotton clothing (which is a fantastic alternative to regular or organic cotton) for my child but I am absolutely going try to whenever possible.
