Long before I had my baby, I never really thought I would be part of a mothers group. Anyhow, now that I am a mum, being able to talk to other parents about what is going on in my life has been a huge help. We discuss how we raise our children, what to do and not to do, we share meal plans, and we love to talk about the newest baby clothes we have picked up.

I more often than not meet with 3 other women, once a month, to find out the latest new. We usually meet at Checkers Restaurant (which is in HYATTSVILLE, MD) as that is pretty central for all of us. Benefits of Organic Baby Clothing

Buying organic products means you are purchasing products which have been produced in an eco friendly manner, or at least in a way which causes less damage to our habitat. No or less use of pesticides and fertilisers means less pollution of our land and rivers, fewer diseases for farmers, and fewer health risks for our babies and children by reducing their contact with toxic chemicals.

A number of makers of baby clothes also sell a range of organic clothing or you can find stores entirely dedicated to organic baby clothing. Either way, there are a lot of designs to choose from and all ages are catered for, from babies to adolescents. Naturally, organic fashion for men and women is also obtainable and I am looking into that for myself and my partner.

I am not saying that I am only ever going to buy organic cotton or bamboo clothing (which is a great alternative to regular or organic cotton) for my children but I am without a doubt going try to whenever it is available.
