Organic Baby Clothing HUGO

Back before I had my first child, I had not imagined I would be part of a mothers group. Anyhow, now that I am a mother, being able to talk to other mothers about what is taking place in my life has benefited me immensely. We chat about how we deal with our children, what to do and not to do, we share baby food recipes, and we like to talk about the newest baby clothes we have bought.
I more often than not get together with 3 other women, once a week, to find out the latest new. We usually meet at Taco Mayo (which is in HUGO, OK) as that is pretty central for all of us. Last week was particularly eye opening as we talked about baby clothes. I have been feeding my baby organic food from the start but I had not considered buying organic clothing for her.
Cotton is one of the most broadly grown products in the US and one of the most ruinous to the environment and to farm employees. The run off from non-organic cotton farms has destroyed habitats and especially water bodies. Organic produce is grown without the need for artificial fertilisers and insecticides. Instead, organic farming depends upon things like crop rotation, enhancing soils naturally, and using organic pest control techniques.
You can buy beautiful organic baby apparel online from a number of shops. Sckoon has some beautiful organic baby clothing.

Benefits of Organic Clothing
Getting organic produce means you are buying products which have been produced in an eco friendly manner, or at a minimum in a way which causes less damage to our habitat. No or less use of insecticides and fertilisers means less pollution of our land and rivers, less diseases for farmers, and fewer health risks for children by reducing their contact with dangerous chemicals.
Several retailers of baby clothes also sell a range of organic items or you can find designers entirely devoted to organic baby clothing. Thankfully, there are a lot of brands to choose from and all ages are taken care of, from infants to teenagers. Naturally, organic clothes for men and women is also accessible and I am looking into that for myself and my husband.
I am not saying that I am only going to buy organic cotton or bamboo clothing (which is a good alternative to regular or organic cotton) for my child but I am most definitely going try to whenever possible.
