Back before I had my first child, I never really thought I would join a mothers group. Be that as it may, now that I have become a mum, chatting to other mothers about what is going on in my life has benefited me immensely. Buying organic clothing means you are buying clothes which have been produced in an eco friendly manner, or at a minimum in a way which causes less damage to the environment. No or reduced use of herbicides and fertilisers means less pollution of our land and waterways, less cancers for farm workers, and fewer health risks for children by reducing their contact with dangerous chemicals.

Anyway, there are a lot of marks to choose from and all ages are provided for, from toddlers to older children. Of course, organic fashion for men and women is also available and I am looking into that for myself and my husband.

I would not go as far to say that I am only ever going to get organic cotton or bamboo cotton clothing (which is a great alternative to regular or organic cotton) for my baby but I am without a doubt going try to whenever possible.
