Organic Baby Clothing HAMTRAMCK

Back before I had my children, I never imagined I would join a mothers group. However, now that I am a mother, chatting to other mothers about what is taking place in my life has been a huge help. We discuss how we deal with our children, what to do and not to do, we share recipes, and we love to chat about the newest baby outfits we have purchased.
I more often than not meet with 2 other mothers, once a fortnight, to catch up on the latest happenings. We generally meet at TAJ Mahal Indian Cuisine Restaurant (which is in HAMTRAMCK, MI) as that is quite central for all of us. Last time was really exciting as we talked about organic baby clothing. I have been feeding my baby boy organic produce from day one but it had never crossed my mind to purchasing organic clothing for her.
Cotton is one of the most widely grown plants in the US and one of the most harmful to the environment and to farm workers. The run off from cotton farms has destroyed the environment and in particular water bodies. Organic produce is grown without the use of artificial fertilisers and pesticides. Instead, organic farming depends upon things like crop rotation, raising the quality of soils naturally, and using organic insect control methods.
You can get organic baby apparel online from a number of retailers. Sckoon has some of the cutest organic baby apparel.

Benefits of Organic Baby Clothing
Purchasing organic clothing means you are buying produce which have been produced in an eco-friendly manner, or at the very least in a way which causes less contamination of the environment. No or reduced use of herbicides and fertilisers means less pollution of our soils and rivers, less cancers for farmers, and fewer health risks for our babies and children by reducing their contact with toxic chemicals.
A number of producers of baby clothes also sell a range of organic clothing or you can find designers completely committed to organic baby clothing. Thankfully, there are a lot of brands to choose from and all ages are catered for, from infants to older children. Obviously, organic clothes for men and women is also accessible and I am looking into that for myself and my man.
I am not saying that I am only going to buy organic cotton or bamboo clothes (which is a good alternative to regular or organic cotton) for my children but I am without a doubt going try to whenever I can.
