Before I had my first child, I never really thought I would be part of a mothers group. However, now that I am a new mother, being able to talk to other parents about what is happening in my life has been a huge help. Buying organic clothing means you are purchasing produce which have been produced in an environmentally friendly manner, or at a minimum in a way which causes less damage to the environment. No or reduced use of insecticides and fertilizers means less pollution of our land and lakes, reduced diseases for farm employees, and fewer health risks for our babies and children by moderating their contact with toxic chemicals.
