Organic Baby Clothing GREENSBURG

Before I had my children, I never thought I would belong to a mothers group. Anyhow, now that I have become a mother, being able to talk to other mothers about what is going on in my life has benefited me immensely. We discuss how we deal with our children, what to do and not to do, we share meal plans, and we love to chat about the newest baby outfits we have picked up.

I usually get together with 4 other mothers, once a week, to catch up on the latest new. We often meet at Frisch's Big Boy Restaurants (which is in GREENSBURG, IN) as that is fairly central for all of us. Last time was more interesting because we chatted about baby clothes. I have been providing my baby boy organic meals from the beginning but it had never crossed my mind to getting organic clothing for her.

Cotton is one of the most widely grown crops in the world and one of the most harmful to the ecosystem and to farm employees. The run off from cotton farms has damaged habitats and especially water bodies. Organic cotton is made without the need for artificial fertilisers and chemicals. Instead, organic farming relies on things like crop rotation, improving soils naturally, and using organic insect control practices.

You can purchase soft organic cotton baby apparel online from a number of shops. Sckoon is my favourite for organic baby clothes.

Benefits of Organic Baby Clothing

Buying organic clothing means you are buying clothes which have been produced in an eco friendly manner, or at least in a way which causes less damage to soils and waterways. No or less use of insecticides and synthetic fertilisers means less pollution of our land and waterways, fewer health problems for farm workers, and fewer health risks for our children by lessening their contact with toxic chemicals.

Several retailers of baby clothes also sell a range of organic clothes or you can find stores solely committed to organic baby clothing. Anyway, there are a lot of marks to choose from and all ages are provided for, from babies to adolescents. Of course, organic clothes for men and women is also accessible and I am looking into that for myself and my husband.

I do not think that I am only going to get organic cotton or bamboo clothes (which is an amazing alternative to regular or organic cotton) for my children but I am most definitely going try to whenever it is available.
