Organic Baby Clothing GRANT PARK

Back before I had my first child, I never imagined I would belong to a mothers group. Be that as it may, now that I have become a mum, talking to other mothers about what is taking place in my life has been a huge help. We discuss how we raise our children, what to do and not to do, we share baby food recipes, and we enjoy being able to discuss the most recent baby fashions we have purchased.

I more often than not get together with 2 other women, once a week, to hear about the latest new. We often meet at Corner Tavern Inc (which is in GRANT PARK, IL) as that is pretty central for all of us. Last month was more exciting because we discussed organic baby clothes. I have been feeding my baby girl organic produce from the start but it had never crossed my mind to getting organic clothing for her.

Cotton is one of the most widely grown plants in the world and one of the most devastating to the environment and to farm employees. The run off from non-organic cotton farms has ruined the environment and in particular water bodies. Organic cotton is produced without the need for artificial fertilisers and insecticides. Instead, organic farming depends on things like crop rotation, enhancing soils naturally, and using eco friendly pest control practices.

You can buy organic cotton baby clothing online from a number of retailers. Sckoon has some beautiful organic baby apparel.

Benefits of Organic Clothing

Purchasing organic products means you are buying clothes which have been produced in an eco-friendly manner, or at least in a way which causes less pollution of soils and waterways. No or reduced use of insecticides and fertilisers means less pollution of our land and lakes, reduced diseases for farm employees, and fewer health risks for our children by lessening their contact with dangerous chemicals.

A number of wholesalers of baby clothes also sell a range of organic items or you can find stores solely committed to organic baby clothing. Anyway, there are a lot of marks to choose from and all ages are catered for, from toddlers to teenagers. Obviously, organic clothes for men and women is also accessible and I am looking into that for myself and my man.

I am not saying that I am only going to get organic cotton or bamboo cotton clothing (which is a good alternative to regular or organic cotton) for my children but I am absolutely going try to whenever it is available.
