Long before I had my children, I had not thought I would belong to a mothers group. Anyhow, now that I am a mum, talking to other parents about what is going on in my life has benefited me immensely. Purchasing organic clothes means you are getting clothes which have been produced in an eco-friendly manner, or at least in a way which causes less contamination of soils and waterways. No or a reduction in the use of insecticides and fertilizers means less pollution of our soils and rivers, reduced health problems for farm employees, and fewer health risks for our babies and children by moderating their contact with dangerous chemicals.

Either way, there are a lot of designs to choose from and all ages are provided for, from infants to teenagers. Naturally, organic clothing for men and women is also available and I am looking into that for myself and my husband.

I am not saying that I am only going to buy organic cotton or bamboo clothes (which is a fantastic alternative to regular or organic cotton) for my children but I am most definitely going try to whenever possible.
