Organic Baby Clothing GARY

Before I had my first child, I had not imagined I would belong to a mothers group. Anyhow, now that I have become a mother, being able to talk to other mothers about what is happening in my life has been a huge help. We chat about how we raise our children, what to do and not to do, we share baby food recipes, and we love to discuss the newest baby fashions we have picked up.
I usually get together with 3 other mothers, once a month, to hear about the latest gossip. We usually meet at Miller Bakery Cafe (which is in GARY, IN) as that is fairly central for all of us. Last month was particularly eye opening because we discussed organic baby clothing. I have been giving my baby boy organic food from the beginning but it had never crossed my mind to getting organic clothing for her.
Cotton is one of the most broadly grown plants in America and one of the most devastating to the ecosystem and to farmers. The run off from cotton farms has ruined habitats and in particular water bodies. Organic cotton is made without using artificial fertilisers and insecticides. Alternatively, organic farming relies on things like crop rotation, raising the quality of soils naturally, and using eco friendly pest control methods.
You can purchase beautiful organic baby clothing online from a number of retailers. Sckoon has some gorgeous organic baby clothing.

Benefits of Choosing Organic Products
Buying organic products means you are buying produce which have been produced in an eco friendly manner, or at least in a way which causes less contamination of the environment. No or reduced use of herbicides and fertilizers means less pollution of our land and rivers, fewer cancers for farmers, and fewer health risks for our children by moderating their contact with toxic chemicals.
A number of retailers of baby clothes also make a range of organic clothes or you can find retailers solely devoted to organic baby clothing. Anyway, there are a lot of brands to choose from and all ages are taken care of, from infants to teenagers. Naturally, organic clothing for men and women is also accessible and I am looking into that for myself and my man.
I am not saying that I am only going to purchase organic cotton or bamboo clothing (which is a great alternative to regular or organic cotton) for my children but I am most definitely going try to whenever possible.
