Long before I had my baby, I never really believed I would join a mothers group. Anyhow, now that I have become a mum, talking to other parents about what is taking place in my life has really helped me. We talk about how we bring up our children, what to do and not to do, we share recipes, and we enjoy being able to chat about the newest baby outfits we have bought.

Benefits of Organic Baby Clothing

Getting organic clothes means you are purchasing produce which have been produced in an eco friendly manner, or at a minimum in a way which causes less pollution of the environment. No or reduced use of herbicides and synthetic fertilisers means less pollution of our farms and rivers, less cancers for farm employees, and fewer health risks for children by lessening their contact with potentially dangerous chemicals.

A number of makers of baby clothes also make a range of organic clothing or you can find companies completely committed to organic baby clothing. Either way, there are a lot of designs to choose from and all ages are provided for, from infants to adolescents. Obviously, organic fashion for men and women is also accessible and I am looking into that for myself and my husband.

I am not saying that I am only ever going to purchase organic cotton or bamboo clothes (which is an excellent alternative to regular or organic cotton) for my children but I am without a doubt going try to whenever possible.
