Organic Baby Clothing EUGENE

Back before I had my baby, I never really believed I would belong to a mothers group. However, now that I am finally a mum, being able to talk to other parents about what is taking place in my life has been a huge help. We talk about how we raise our children, what to do and not to do, we share recipes, and we like to discuss the most recent baby clothes we have picked up.

I usually go out with 2 other mothers, once a week, to hear about the latest happenings. We often meet at Mcgrath's Fish House (which is in EUGENE, OR) as that is quite central for all of us. Last time was really exciting as we talked about organic baby clothes. I have been feeding my baby girl organic meals from the start but I had never thought about getting organic clothing for her.

Cotton is one of the most broadly grown products in the US and one of the most harmful to the ecosystem and to farm employees. The run off from these farms has ruined habitats and particularly water supplies. Organic products are grown without using artificial fertilisers and insecticides. Alternatively, organic farming relies on things like crop rotation, enhancing soils naturally, and using eco friendly pest control methods.

Benefits of Organic Baby Clothing

Buying organic clothing means you are getting products which have been produced in an eco friendly manner, or at the very least in a way which causes less damage to our habitat. No or less use of insecticides and fertilizers means less pollution of our land and lakes, reduced health problems for farm workers, and fewer health risks for children by lessening their contact with toxic chemicals.

Quite a few makers of baby clothes also produce a range of organic clothing or you can find designers completely devoted to organic baby clothes. Anyway, there are a lot of brands to choose from and all ages are catered for, from infants to older children. Naturally, organic clothes for men and women is also accessible and I am looking into that for myself and my husband.

I do not think that I am just going to buy organic cotton or bamboo cotton clothing (which is an amazing alternative to regular or organic cotton) for my child but I am most definitely going try to whenever possible.
