Organic Baby Clothing ENGLISHTOWN

Back before I had my children, I never thought I would join a mothers group. However, now that I am finally a mum, talking to other mothers about what is taking place in my life has benefited me immensely. We discuss how we raise our children, what to do and not to do, we share recipes, and we enjoy being able to chat about the latest baby outfits we have picked up.
I generally meet with 2 other mothers, once a week, to find out the latest happenings. We generally meet at Terrace On the Green Restaurant (which is in ENGLISHTOWN, NJ) as that is quite central for all of us. Last week was more exciting as we chatted about baby clothes. I have been giving my baby girl organic produce from day one but I had not considered buying organic clothing for her.
Cotton is one of the most broadly grown crops in the US and one of the most ruinous to the ecosystem and to farmers. The run off from cotton farms has destroyed the environment and in particular water ways. Organic cotton is made without the need for artificial fertilisers and pesticides. Alternatively, organic farming relies on things like crop rotation, raising the quality of soils naturally, and using organic pest control practices.
Benefits of Choosing Organic Products
Getting organic products means you are buying produce which have been produced in an environmentally friendly manner, or at the very least in a way which causes less contamination of soils and waterways. No or a reduction in the use of insecticides and fertilizers means less pollution of our farms and lakes, less cancers for farm workers, and fewer health risks for our children by moderating their contact with toxic chemicals.
Several retailers of baby clothes also sell a range of organic clothing or you can find designers solely dedicated to organic baby clothes. Either way, there are a lot of designs to choose from and all ages are taken care of, from babies to teenagers. Obviously, organic fashion for men and women is also obtainable and I am looking into that for myself and my husband.
I would not go as far to say that I am just going to purchase organic cotton or bamboo clothing (which is a fantastic alternative to regular or organic cotton) for my child but I am absolutely going try to whenever possible.
