Organic Baby Clothing EAST TROY

Back before I had my children, I never really imagined I would belong to a mothers group. However, now that I have become a new mother, talking to other parents about what is going on in my life has benefited me immensely. We chat about how we raise our children, what to do and not to do, we share recipes, and we enjoy being able to talk about the newest baby clothes we have bought.

I generally meet with 4 other mothers, once a week, to find out the latest happenings. We often meet at Romas Ristorante & Lounge (which is in EAST TROY, WI) as that is fairly central for all of us. Last time was really eye opening seeing we talked about organic baby clothes. I have been providing my baby girl organic food from day one but I had not considered purchasing organic clothing for her.

Cotton is one of the most widely grown crops in the world and one of the most harmful to the environment and to farm workers. The run off from cotton farms has damaged the environment and in particular water supplies. Organic cotton is produced without the need for artificial fertilisers and chemicals. Rather, organic farming relies on things like crop rotation, improving soils naturally, and using organic insect control practices.

Benefits of Choosing Organic Products

Buying organic produce means you are purchasing produce which have been produced in an eco friendly manner, or at a minimum in a way which causes less contamination of the environment. No or reduced use of pesticides and synthetic fertilisers means less pollution of our farms and rivers, reduced diseases for farm employees, and fewer health risks for our babies and children by moderating their contact with potentially dangerous chemicals.

A number of wholesalers of baby clothes also produce a range of organic clothing or you can find shops completely committed to organic baby fashion. Anyway, there are a lot of designs to choose from and all ages are taken care of, from infants to teenagers. Obviously, organic clothes for men and women is also available and I am looking into that for myself and my partner.

I do not think that I am only ever going to purchase organic cotton or bamboo clothing (which is an excellent alternative to regular or organic cotton) for my child but I am without a doubt going try to whenever possible.
