Organic Baby Clothing EAST BERLIN

Before I had my first child, I never really thought I would join a mothers group. Be that as it may, now that I am a new mother, chatting to other parents about what is happening in my life has benefited me immensely. We chat about how we bring up our children, what to do and not to do, we share meal plans, and we love to talk about the latest baby fashions we have picked up.

I generally go out with 4 other women, once a month, to find out the latest new. We often meet at Lunches By David (which is in EAST BERLIN, PA) as that is quite central for all of us. Last time was particularly eye opening as we discussed baby clothes. I have been feeding my baby organic produce from the start but I had not considered purchasing organic clothing for her.

Cotton is one of the most widely grown crops in America and one of the most harmful to the habitat and to farm workers. The run off from non-organic cotton farms has damaged ecosystems and in particular water supplies. Organic produce is grown without the use of artificial fertilisers and pesticides. Instead, organic farming depends on things like crop rotation, improving soils naturally, and using organic insect control methods.

You can get soft organic cotton baby apparel online from a number of stores. Sckoon has some of the cutest organic baby clothes.

Benefits of Choosing Organic Products

Purchasing organic clothing means you are purchasing produce which have been produced in an eco-friendly manner, or at least in a way which causes less damage to our habitat. No or less use of insecticides and synthetic fertilisers means less pollution of our soils and rivers, less diseases for farm workers, and fewer health risks for children by moderating their contact with potentially dangerous chemicals.

Quite a few wholesalers of baby clothes also make a range of organic items or you can find retailers entirely dedicated to organic baby clothes. Anyway, there are a lot of brands to choose from and all ages are catered for, from toddlers to adolescents. Of course, organic clothing for men and women is also obtainable and I am looking into that for myself and my husband.

I am not saying that I am just going to buy organic cotton or bamboo clothes (which is an amazing alternative to regular or organic cotton) for my children but I am absolutely going try to whenever possible.
