Back before I had my children, I never imagined I would belong to a mothers group. However, now that I am finally a mother, being able to talk to other mothers about what is going on in my life has benefited me immensely. Getting organic products means you are purchasing clothes which have been produced in an environmentally friendly manner, or at least in a way which causes less contamination of soils and waterways. No or a reduction in the use of insecticides and fertilizers means less pollution of our farms and lakes, less cancers for farm employees, and fewer health risks for our babies and children by moderating their contact with toxic chemicals.

Thankfully, there are a lot of marks to choose from and all ages are taken care of, from babies to adolescents. I do not think that I am only going to get organic cotton or bamboo clothing (which is a great alternative to regular or organic cotton) for my child but I am without a doubt going try to whenever I can.
