Organic Baby Clothing DENHAM SPRINGS

Long before I had my children, I had not believed I would be part of a mothers group. Anyhow, now that I have become a mum, chatting to other mothers about what is happening in my life has really helped me. We talk about how we raise our children, what to do and not to do, we share baby food recipes, and we like to talk about the newest baby fashions we have picked up.
I usually get together with 3 other women, once a week, to hear about the latest gossip. We usually meet at Original New Orleans Poboy & Seafood 2 (which is in DENHAM SPRINGS, LA) as that is quite central for all of us. Last time was more eye opening as we chatted about organic baby clothes. I have been giving my baby organic produce from the start but I had never thought about getting organic clothing for her.
Cotton is one of the most widely grown products in America and one of the most harmful to the ecosystem and to farmers. The run off from non-organic cotton farms has destroyed ecosystems and particularly water bodies. Organic produce is made without the use of artificial fertilisers and pesticides. Rather, organic farming depends upon things like crop rotation, enhancing soils naturally, and using eco friendly pest control practices.
Benefits of Choosing Organic Products
Getting organic clothes means you are buying produce which have been produced in an eco-friendly manner, or at the very least in a way which causes less contamination of our habitat. No or less use of herbicides and synthetic fertilisers means less pollution of our farms and rivers, fewer diseases for farm employees, and fewer health risks for our babies and children by reducing their contact with dangerous chemicals.
Many makers of baby clothes also make a range of organic items or you can find companies completely dedicated to organic baby clothing. Thankfully, there are a lot of designs to choose from and all ages are provided for, from infants to adolescents. Obviously, organic fashion for men and women is also accessible and I am looking into that for myself and my man.
I would not go as far to say that I am only going to buy organic cotton or bamboo clothes (which is an excellent alternative to regular or organic cotton) for my children but I am definitely going try to whenever possible.
