Organic Baby Clothing DEARBORN

Back before I had my first child, I never really thought I would be part of a mothers group. However, now that I am finally a new mother, being able to talk to other women about what is taking place in my life has benefited me immensely. We chat about how we deal with our children, what to do and not to do, we share meal plans, and we love to discuss the most recent baby fashions we have bought.

I generally get together with 2 other mothers, once a month, to hear about the latest gossip. We usually meet at Bangkok 96 Restaurant (which is in DEARBORN, MI) as that is fairly central for all of us. Last time was particularly exciting seeing we talked about baby clothes. I have been giving my baby boy organic meals from the beginning but I had never thought about purchasing organic clothing for her.

Cotton is one of the most broadly grown crops in the world and one of the most ruinous to the ecosystem and to farmers. The run off from non-organic cotton farms has ruined ecosystems and in particular water supplies. Organic products are produced without the use of artificial fertilisers and chemicals. Instead, organic farming relies on things like crop rotation, enhancing soils naturally, and using organic pest control methods.

You can buy soft organic cotton baby apparel online from a number of stores. Sckoon has some beautiful organic baby clothing.

Benefits of Organic Baby Clothing

Getting organic produce means you are getting products which have been produced in an eco-friendly manner, or at least in a way which causes less pollution of our habitat. No or a reduction in the use of insecticides and synthetic fertilisers means less pollution of our soils and waterways, fewer cancers for farm employees, and fewer health risks for our babies and children by reducing their contact with dangerous chemicals.

A number of wholesalers of baby clothes also produce a range of organic clothes or you can find companies solely devoted to organic baby clothing. Either way, there are a lot of designs to choose from and all ages are provided for, from toddlers to teenagers. Of course, organic clothing for men and women is also accessible and I am looking into that for myself and my husband.

I would not go as far to say that I am only going to get organic cotton or bamboo clothing (which is an excellent alternative to regular or organic cotton) for my child but I am most definitely going try to whenever I can.
