Organic Baby Clothing CLINTON

Before I had my first child, I never really thought I would belong to a mothers group. Be that as it may, now that I am a new mother, talking to other women about what is taking place in my life has benefited me immensely. We talk about how we raise our children, what to do and not to do, we share meal plans, and we love to talk about the latest baby clothes we have picked up.
I usually get together with 3 other parents, once a fortnight, to find out the latest happenings. We generally meet at Home Town Cafe (which is in CLINTON, LA) as that is pretty central for all of us. Last week was particularly exciting as we discussed organic baby clothes. I have been feeding my baby organic produce from the start but it had never crossed my mind to purchasing organic clothing for her.
Cotton is one of the most widely grown plants in the US and one of the most harmful to the habitat and to farm workers. The run off from these farms has ruined ecosystems and especially water supplies. Organic produce is grown without the use of artificial fertilisers and pesticides. Alternatively, organic farming depends upon things like crop rotation, improving soils naturally, and using organic insect control methods.
You can buy organic baby clothing online from a number of shops. Sckoon has some beautiful organic baby apparel.

Benefits of Organic Baby Clothing
Purchasing organic clothing means you are getting clothes which have been produced in an eco friendly manner, or at a minimum in a way which causes less damage to soils and waterways. No or less use of herbicides and synthetic fertilisers means less pollution of our land and rivers, fewer cancers for farmers, and fewer health risks for our children by moderating their contact with dangerous chemicals.
Many makers of baby clothes also make a range of organic items or you can find wholesalers solely devoted to organic baby clothing. Anyway, there are a lot of designs to choose from and all ages are taken care of, from infants to older children. Obviously, organic clothing for men and women is also available and I am looking into that for myself and my man.
I am not saying that I am just going to purchase organic cotton or bamboo clothes (which is a great alternative to regular or organic cotton) for my child but I am definitely going try to whenever it is available.
