Organic Baby Clothing CINCINNATI

Before I had my children, I never believed I would join a mothers group. Be that as it may, now that I am a mum, chatting to other mothers about what is taking place in my life has been a huge help. We discuss how we deal with our children, what to do and not to do, we share baby food recipes, and we love to talk about the newest baby fashions we have purchased.

I generally get together with 4 other parents, once a fortnight, to catch up on the latest gossip. We often meet at Dunlap Cafe (which is in CINCINNATI, OH) as that is pretty central for all of us. Last time was really exciting as we discussed baby clothes. I have been feeding my baby boy organic meals from the beginning but it had never crossed my mind to purchasing organic clothing for her.

Cotton is one of the most popular products in the US and one of the most ruinous to the environment and to farm workers. The run off from non-organic cotton farms has ruined ecosystems and particularly water ways. Organic products are made without using artificial fertilisers and insecticides. Alternatively, organic farming depends on things like crop rotation, enhancing soils naturally, and using organic insect control practices.

You can get organic cotton baby outfits online from a number of retailers. Sckoon has some gorgeous organic baby clothing.

Benefits of Choosing Organic Products

Purchasing organic produce means you are getting produce which have been produced in an eco-friendly manner, or at least in a way which causes less contamination of the environment. No or less use of herbicides and synthetic fertilisers means less pollution of our soils and waterways, reduced diseases for farmers, and fewer health risks for our children by reducing their contact with potentially dangerous chemicals.

Quite a few producers of baby clothes also sell a range of organic clothes or you can find retailers completely dedicated to organic baby clothes. Either way, there are a lot of designs to choose from and all ages are catered for, from toddlers to older children. Of course, organic clothing for men and women is also accessible and I am looking into that for myself and my husband.

I would not go as far to say that I am only going to purchase organic cotton or bamboo clothes (which is a great alternative to regular or organic cotton) for my children but I am without a doubt going try to whenever possible.
