Organic Baby Clothing CHESHIRE

Back before I had my baby, I had not believed I would join a mothers group. Be that as it may, now that I am finally a mother, being able to talk to other parents about what is taking place in my life has benefited me immensely. We discuss how we deal with our children, what to do and not to do, we share recipes, and we love to talk about the newest baby clothes we have picked up.

I more often than not get together with 4 other parents, once a month, to hear about the latest gossip. We generally meet at BRIX Restaurant (which is in CHESHIRE, CT) as that is fairly central for all of us. Last week was more eye opening seeing we talked about organic baby clothes. I have been feeding my baby organic produce from day one but I had never thought about buying organic clothing for her.

Cotton is one of the most popular plants in America and one of the most ruinous to the environment and to farm employees. The run off from cotton farms has ruined ecosystems and in particular water ways. Organic products are grown without using artificial fertilisers and chemicals. Instead, organic farming depends upon things like crop rotation, improving soils naturally, and using organic insect control techniques.

You can get soft organic cotton baby apparel online from a number of stores. Sckoon has some of the cutest organic baby clothing.

Benefits of Organic Clothing

Getting organic clothes means you are purchasing produce which have been produced in an eco friendly manner, or at least in a way which causes less contamination of our habitat. No or a reduction in the use of insecticides and fertilisers means less pollution of our land and lakes, fewer health problems for farm workers, and fewer health risks for our babies and children by lessening their contact with potentially dangerous chemicals.

A number of makers of baby clothes also produce a range of organic clothing or you can find wholesalers solely committed to organic baby fashion. Either way, there are a lot of designs to choose from and all ages are taken care of, from babies to teenagers. Obviously, organic clothes for men and women is also available and I am looking into that for myself and my partner.

I do not think that I am only ever going to buy organic cotton or bamboo clothing (which is a good alternative to regular or organic cotton) for my child but I am without a doubt going try to whenever I can.
