Organic Baby Clothing CHARLEVOIX

Back before I had my baby, I had not thought I would be part of a mothers group. Be that as it may, now that I am finally a new mother, being able to talk to other parents about what is happening in my life has benefited me immensely. We chat about how we bring up our children, what to do and not to do, we share recipes, and we enjoy being able to talk about the most recent baby clothes we have purchased.

I more often than not go out with 3 other mothers, once a fortnight, to hear about the latest happenings. We often meet at Lake Michigan Heights Mobile Home Park (which is in CHARLEVOIX, MI) as that is pretty central for all of us. Last month was particularly interesting as we chatted about baby clothes. I have been giving my baby organic food from the start but I had not considered purchasing organic clothing for her.

Cotton is one of the most popular products in the world and one of the most ruinous to the ecosystem and to farm employees. The run off from non-organic cotton farms has ruined the environment and especially water ways. Organic cotton is produced without using artificial fertilisers and chemicals. Alternatively, organic farming relies on things like crop rotation, improving soils naturally, and using organic pest control techniques.

You can buy beautiful organic baby clothing online from a number of shops. Sckoon has some beautiful organic baby apparel.

Benefits of Organic Clothing

Getting organic produce means you are purchasing produce which have been produced in an environmentally friendly manner, or at a minimum in a way which causes less contamination of the environment. No or reduced use of insecticides and fertilizers means less pollution of our farms and waterways, reduced diseases for farmers, and fewer health risks for our babies and children by lessening their contact with dangerous chemicals.

Several producers of baby clothes also make a range of organic clothing or you can find retailers entirely dedicated to organic baby clothing. Either way, there are a lot of brands to choose from and all ages are catered for, from infants to older children. Obviously, organic fashion for men and women is also accessible and I am looking into that for myself and my man.

I do not think that I am just going to purchase organic cotton or bamboo cotton clothing (which is an excellent alternative to regular or organic cotton) for my child but I am most definitely going try to whenever possible.
