Organic Baby Clothing CHARLESTON
Filed Under (Organic Baby Clothes) by Kaye on 09-05-2009
Before I had my baby, I had not thought I would join a mothers group. Anyhow, now that I am finally a mum, talking to other parents about what is going on in my life has benefited me immensely. We talk about how we deal with our children, what to do and not to do, we share baby food recipes, and we enjoy being able to talk about the most recent baby clothes we have purchased.
I usually go out with 4 other women, once a week, to catch up on the latest gossip. We usually meet at Mccrady's (which is in CHARLESTON, SC) as that is quite central for all of us. Last month was really eye opening as we chatted about organic baby clothing. I have been feeding my baby girl organic produce from day one but I had never thought about purchasing organic clothing for her.
Cotton is one of the most popular products in the world and one of the most ruinous to the environment and to farmers. The run off from non-organic cotton farms has ruined ecosystems and especially water supplies. Organic products are produced without the use of artificial fertilisers and chemicals. Rather, organic farming depends upon things like crop rotation, enhancing soils naturally, and using organic insect control methods.
You can get organic cotton baby clothing online from a number of stores. Sckoon has some of the cutest organic baby apparel.

Benefits of Choosing Organic Products
Getting organic produce means you are purchasing products which have been produced in an eco-friendly manner, or at the very least in a way which causes less pollution of the environment. No or reduced use of herbicides and fertilisers means less pollution of our land and waterways, reduced cancers for farmers, and fewer health risks for our children by lessening their contact with toxic chemicals.
Quite a few wholesalers of baby clothes also make a range of organic items or you can find designers entirely dedicated to organic baby clothes. Thankfully, there are a lot of marks to choose from and all ages are provided for, from infants to older children. Obviously, organic fashion for men and women is also obtainable and I am looking into that for myself and my partner.
I do not think that I am only going to get organic cotton or bamboo clothes (which is a great alternative to regular or organic cotton) for my children but I am most definitely going try to whenever it is available.
