Organic Baby Clothing CARNEGIE

Before I had my baby, I never really thought I would belong to a mothers group. Be that as it may, now that I am finally a mother, talking to other mothers about what is taking place in my life has been a huge help. We chat about how we bring up our children, what to do and not to do, we share baby food recipes, and we enjoy being able to discuss the most recent baby clothes we have bought.
I usually meet with 4 other parents, once a week, to find out the latest new. We generally meet at El Charro Restaurant (which is in CARNEGIE, OK) as that is quite central for all of us. Last week was really eye opening because we talked about organic baby clothes. I have been feeding my baby girl organic produce from day one but I had not considered getting organic clothing for her.
Cotton is one of the most popular crops in America and one of the most ruinous to the environment and to farm employees. The run off from these farms has ruined the environment and in particular water supplies. Organic produce is grown without using artificial fertilisers and insecticides. Alternatively, organic farming depends upon things like crop rotation, improving soils naturally, and using organic insect control methods.
Benefits of Organic Clothing
Buying organic clothing means you are purchasing products which have been produced in an eco-friendly manner, or at the very least in a way which causes less pollution of the environment. No or reduced use of insecticides and fertilizers means less pollution of our soils and waterways, reduced diseases for farmers, and fewer health risks for our children by reducing their contact with dangerous chemicals.
Quite a few makers of baby clothes also make a range of organic clothing or you can find shops completely committed to organic baby fashion. Anyway, there are a lot of designs to choose from and all ages are provided for, from toddlers to teenagers. Of course, organic clothes for men and women is also available and I am looking into that for myself and my man.
I am not saying that I am just going to get organic cotton or bamboo cotton clothing (which is a fantastic alternative to regular or organic cotton) for my child but I am most definitely going try to whenever I can.
