Organic Baby Clothing BUTLER

Long before I had my first child, I never really thought I would belong to a mothers group. Anyhow, now that I have become a mother, being able to talk to other parents about what is happening in my life has really helped me. We discuss how we bring up our children, what to do and not to do, we share meal plans, and we love to talk about the latest baby clothes we have picked up.

I generally meet with 3 other women, once a fortnight, to hear about the latest happenings. We usually meet at Arriba Mexican Restaurant (which is in BUTLER, WI) as that is fairly central for all of us. Last week was particularly exciting seeing we chatted about organic baby clothes. I have been giving my baby boy organic produce from the beginning but it had never crossed my mind to purchasing organic clothing for her.

Cotton is one of the most popular products in the US and one of the most devastating to the habitat and to farm employees. The run off from cotton farms has damaged habitats and especially water bodies. Organic products are grown without the need for artificial fertilisers and pesticides. Rather, organic farming depends upon things like crop rotation, raising the quality of soils naturally, and using eco friendly pest control techniques.

You can buy organic baby clothing online from a number of retailers. Sckoon is my favourite for organic baby clothes.

Benefits of Organic Baby Clothing

Buying organic clothes means you are getting produce which have been produced in an eco friendly manner, or at the very least in a way which causes less contamination of the environment. No or reduced use of insecticides and fertilisers means less pollution of our farms and rivers, fewer health problems for farm employees, and fewer health risks for our children by lessening their contact with toxic chemicals.

A number of makers of baby clothes also produce a range of organic clothes or you can find wholesalers entirely dedicated to organic baby fashion. Either way, there are a lot of brands to choose from and all ages are taken care of, from infants to older children. Naturally, organic fashion for men and women is also accessible and I am looking into that for myself and my partner.

I do not think that I am only going to purchase organic cotton or bamboo cotton clothing (which is a great alternative to regular or organic cotton) for my children but I am without a doubt going try to whenever possible.
