Organic Baby Clothing BROOKLYN

Long before I had my children, I never imagined I would be part of a mothers group. Anyhow, now that I am a new mother, talking to other mothers about what is going on in my life has benefited me immensely. We chat about how we deal with our children, what to do and not to do, we share meal plans, and we enjoy being able to talk about the latest baby fashions we have picked up.
I usually get together with 4 other mothers, once a week, to find out the latest new. We often meet at Ho Wah Chinese Restaurant (which is in BROOKLYN, NY) as that is fairly central for all of us. Last month was really exciting as we talked about baby clothes. I have been giving my baby organic food from the beginning but I had never thought about purchasing organic clothing for her.
Cotton is one of the most broadly grown plants in the world and one of the most harmful to the habitat and to farmers. The run off from cotton farms has ruined habitats and especially water bodies. Organic cotton is grown without using artificial fertilisers and pesticides. Rather, organic farming depends on things like crop rotation, enhancing soils naturally, and using organic insect control techniques.
You can get organic cotton baby clothing online from a number of stores. Sckoon has some gorgeous organic baby clothes.

Benefits of Choosing Organic Products
Getting organic products means you are purchasing clothes which have been produced in an eco friendly manner, or at a minimum in a way which causes less pollution of the environment. No or reduced use of pesticides and fertilisers means less pollution of our soils and lakes, reduced health problems for farmers, and fewer health risks for children by lessening their contact with potentially dangerous chemicals.
A number of wholesalers of baby clothes also sell a range of organic clothes or you can find stores completely committed to organic baby clothes. Anyway, there are a lot of brands to choose from and all ages are catered for, from babies to adolescents. Obviously, organic clothes for men and women is also accessible and I am looking into that for myself and my husband.
I do not think that I am only going to buy organic cotton or bamboo cotton clothing (which is an amazing alternative to regular or organic cotton) for my child but I am absolutely going try to whenever I can.
