Back before I had my baby, I never really believed I would be part of a mothers group. Anyhow, now that I have become a mother, chatting to other parents about what is happening in my life has been a huge help. No or less use of herbicides and fertilisers means less pollution of our farms and lakes, less health problems for farm employees, and fewer health risks for our children by moderating their contact with potentially dangerous chemicals.

Thankfully, there are a lot of brands to choose from and all ages are taken care of, from infants to older children. I do not think that I am only ever going to get organic cotton or bamboo clothes (which is a great alternative to regular or organic cotton) for my children but I am definitely going try to whenever I can.
