Organic Baby Clothing BREAUX BRIDGE

Back before I had my baby, I had not imagined I would be part of a mothers group. Anyhow, now that I have become a new mother, talking to other mothers about what is taking place in my life has really helped me. We discuss how we raise our children, what to do and not to do, we share meal plans, and we like to talk about the latest baby outfits we have purchased.

I usually go out with 2 other parents, once a week, to catch up on the latest happenings. We generally meet at Butte LA Rose Deli & Meat (which is in BREAUX BRIDGE, LA) as that is pretty central for all of us. Last month was more eye opening as we talked about organic baby clothing. I have been providing my baby girl organic meals from the start but I had never thought about getting organic clothing for her.

Cotton is one of the most widely grown products in the US and one of the most harmful to the environment and to farm employees. The run off from cotton farms has destroyed ecosystems and particularly water bodies. Organic products are made without using artificial fertilisers and insecticides. Instead, organic farming depends upon things like crop rotation, improving soils naturally, and using organic pest control techniques.

You can get soft organic cotton baby apparel online from a number of shops. Sckoon has some beautiful organic baby clothing.

Benefits of Organic Baby Clothing

Purchasing organic produce means you are purchasing clothes which have been produced in an eco-friendly manner, or at least in a way which causes less contamination of our habitat. No or less use of insecticides and synthetic fertilisers means less pollution of our farms and waterways, reduced diseases for farm employees, and fewer health risks for our babies and children by lessening their contact with dangerous chemicals.

Several wholesalers of baby clothes also produce a range of organic clothes or you can find retailers solely dedicated to organic baby clothes. Thankfully, there are a lot of marks to choose from and all ages are catered for, from infants to teenagers. Naturally, organic fashion for men and women is also available and I am looking into that for myself and my husband.

I would not go as far to say that I am only ever going to buy organic cotton or bamboo clothes (which is an excellent alternative to regular or organic cotton) for my child but I am most definitely going try to whenever it is available.
