Organic Baby Clothing AURORA

Before I had my baby, I never imagined I would join a mothers group. Anyhow, now that I am finally a mum, talking to other women about what is going on in my life has been a huge help. We discuss how we raise our children, what to do and not to do, we share baby food recipes, and we enjoy being able to discuss the most recent baby fashions we have bought.

I generally get together with 4 other women, once a fortnight, to catch up on the latest new. We usually meet at Armando's (which is in AURORA, CO) as that is pretty central for all of us. Last month was particularly eye opening as we talked about organic baby clothes. I have been feeding my baby girl organic produce from day one but it had never crossed my mind to getting organic clothing for her.

Cotton is one of the most broadly grown crops in America and one of the most harmful to the environment and to farm employees. The run off from these farms has damaged habitats and especially water ways. Organic products are made without the use of artificial fertilisers and chemicals. Rather, organic farming depends on things like crop rotation, improving soils naturally, and using organic pest control techniques.

You can purchase organic cotton baby clothes online from a number of retailers. Sckoon has some beautiful organic baby apparel.

Benefits of Organic Baby Clothing

Getting organic products means you are getting produce which have been produced in an eco friendly manner, or at a minimum in a way which causes less contamination of our habitat. No or less use of pesticides and fertilizers means less pollution of our soils and waterways, less health problems for farmers, and fewer health risks for our children by moderating their contact with potentially dangerous chemicals.

Quite a few producers of baby clothes also make a range of organic clothes or you can find shops solely devoted to organic baby clothing. Either way, there are a lot of brands to choose from and all ages are taken care of, from toddlers to adolescents. Naturally, organic fashion for men and women is also accessible and I am looking into that for myself and my man.

I do not think that I am only ever going to buy organic cotton or bamboo clothing (which is an excellent alternative to regular or organic cotton) for my children but I am definitely going try to whenever it is available.
