Organic Baby Clothing ALPHARETTA
Filed Under (Organic Baby Clothes) by Kaye on 18-12-2008
Before I had my baby, I never believed I would belong to a mothers group. Be that as it may, now that I am finally a mum, being able to talk to other women about what is taking place in my life has benefited me immensely. We talk about how we raise our children, what to do and not to do, we share recipes, and we enjoy being able to talk about the latest baby clothes we have bought.
I usually go out with 3 other women, once a week, to hear about the latest new. We usually meet at Sbarro Italian Eatery (which is in ALPHARETTA, GA) as that is fairly central for all of us. Last week was more eye opening because we talked about baby clothes. I have been giving my baby organic meals from the beginning but I had never thought about buying organic clothing for her.
Cotton is one of the most broadly grown products in the world and one of the most harmful to the ecosystem and to farm workers. The run off from these farms has damaged the environment and in particular water ways. Organic produce is grown without using artificial fertilisers and chemicals. Instead, organic farming depends upon things like crop rotation, enhancing soils naturally, and using organic insect control techniques.
You can purchase organic baby clothes online from a number of shops. Sckoon has some beautiful organic baby clothes.

Benefits of Organic Baby Clothing
Purchasing organic clothes means you are purchasing products which have been produced in an environmentally friendly manner, or at the very least in a way which causes less damage to the environment. No or reduced use of insecticides and synthetic fertilisers means less pollution of our soils and rivers, less cancers for farm employees, and fewer health risks for our children by reducing their contact with potentially dangerous chemicals.
Quite a few retailers of baby clothes also produce a range of organic clothes or you can find designers entirely committed to organic baby clothes. Either way, there are a lot of designs to choose from and all ages are taken care of, from babies to older children. Of course, organic clothing for men and women is also accessible and I am looking into that for myself and my partner.
I would not go as far to say that I am only ever going to buy organic cotton or bamboo clothing (which is a good alternative to regular or organic cotton) for my child but I am without a doubt going try to whenever it is available.
