Long before I had my baby, I never really thought I would belong to a mothers group. Be that as it may, now that I have become a mother, chatting to other mothers about what is going on in my life has really helped me. Getting organic products means you are purchasing produce which have been produced in an eco friendly manner, or at a minimum in a way which causes less damage to the environment. No or a reduction in the use of herbicides and synthetic fertilisers means less pollution of our soils and waterways, reduced health problems for farm employees, and fewer health risks for children by lessening their contact with potentially dangerous chemicals.

Thankfully, there are a lot of marks to choose from and all ages are catered for, from infants to adolescents. I am not saying that I am only going to buy organic cotton or bamboo clothes (which is an excellent alternative to regular or organic cotton) for my baby but I am absolutely going try to whenever it is available.
