Organic Baby Clothing AFTON

Long before I had my baby, I had not believed I would join a mothers group. However, now that I have become a mother, being able to talk to other mothers about what is happening in my life has really helped me. We chat about how we bring up our children, what to do and not to do, we share meal plans, and we enjoy being able to discuss the latest baby fashions we have purchased.
I usually go out with 3 other mothers, once a week, to hear about the latest happenings. We generally meet at Pizza Gunnar's (which is in AFTON, WY) as that is pretty central for all of us. Last time was more interesting seeing we talked about baby clothes. I have been feeding my baby boy organic meals from the start but I had never thought about purchasing organic clothing for her.
Cotton is one of the most widely grown plants in America and one of the most devastating to the habitat and to farmers. The run off from these farms has ruined the environment and in particular water ways. Organic produce is made without the need for artificial fertilisers and insecticides. Alternatively, organic farming relies on things like crop rotation, improving soils naturally, and using organic insect control techniques.
You can purchase organic baby outfits online from a number of stores. Sckoon has some of the cutest organic baby apparel.

Benefits of Organic Baby Clothing
Getting organic produce means you are purchasing products which have been produced in an eco-friendly manner, or at a minimum in a way which causes less damage to the environment. No or less use of pesticides and fertilisers means less pollution of our farms and waterways, reduced diseases for farmers, and fewer health risks for our babies and children by reducing their contact with potentially dangerous chemicals.
A number of producers of baby clothes also make a range of organic clothes or you can find designers completely committed to organic baby clothes. Either way, there are a lot of brands to choose from and all ages are catered for, from toddlers to teenagers. Naturally, organic clothing for men and women is also available and I am looking into that for myself and my husband.
I do not think that I am only ever going to buy organic cotton or bamboo clothes (which is a great alternative to regular or organic cotton) for my child but I am definitely going try to whenever possible.
