Organic Baby Clothing ABBEVILLE

Long before I had my first child, I never believed I would join a mothers group. Be that as it may, now that I am finally a mother, chatting to other mothers about what is going on in my life has really helped me. We chat about how we raise our children, what to do and not to do, we share recipes, and we love to talk about the latest baby fashions we have purchased.
I more often than not go out with 4 other mothers, once a month, to hear about the latest new. We usually meet at Lynn GS Seafood & Steakhouse Inc (which is in ABBEVILLE, LA) as that is pretty central for all of us. Last week was particularly exciting because we discussed organic baby clothes. I have been feeding my baby boy organic meals from the start but I had never thought about buying organic clothing for her.
Cotton is one of the most widely grown plants in the world and one of the most devastating to the ecosystem and to farm workers. The run off from non-organic cotton farms has ruined habitats and especially water bodies. Organic produce is made without the use of artificial fertilisers and pesticides. Alternatively, organic farming relies on things like crop rotation, improving soils naturally, and using eco friendly pest control practices.
Benefits of Organic Clothing
Buying organic produce means you are buying produce which have been produced in an eco friendly manner, or at a minimum in a way which causes less damage to our habitat. No or a reduction in the use of herbicides and synthetic fertilisers means less pollution of our land and rivers, fewer cancers for farmers, and fewer health risks for our babies and children by lessening their contact with dangerous chemicals.
Many wholesalers of baby clothes also make a range of organic clothes or you can find designers solely devoted to organic baby clothes. Anyway, there are a lot of marks to choose from and all ages are taken care of, from infants to teenagers. Of course, organic clothing for men and women is also available and I am looking into that for myself and my man.
I am not saying that I am just going to buy organic cotton or bamboo clothing (which is a good alternative to regular or organic cotton) for my child but I am absolutely going try to whenever possible.
