Organic Baby Clothes WINSTON

Before I had my first child, I had not thought I would be part of a mothers group. Anyhow, now that I am a mother, being able to talk to other parents about what is happening in my life has benefited me immensely. We chat about how we bring up our children, what to do and not to do, we share recipes, and we like to chat about the most recent baby outfits we have picked up.

I more often than not meet with 3 other parents, once a week, to find out the latest gossip. We often meet at Safari Game Search Foundation - Wildlife Safari (which is in WINSTON, OR) as that is quite central for all of us. Last week was more exciting because we chatted about organic baby clothing. I have been giving my baby organic meals from the beginning but it had never crossed my mind to getting organic clothing for her.

Cotton is one of the most widely grown crops in America and one of the most harmful to the environment and to farm employees. The run off from these farms has destroyed the environment and especially water ways. Organic produce is made without the need for artificial fertilisers and chemicals. Alternatively, organic farming relies on things like crop rotation, raising the quality of soils naturally, and using eco friendly pest control techniques.

Benefits of Choosing Organic Products

Purchasing organic products means you are buying produce which have been produced in an eco friendly manner, or at a minimum in a way which causes less damage to soils and waterways. No or reduced use of herbicides and fertilisers means less pollution of our land and lakes, reduced cancers for farmers, and fewer health risks for our babies and children by moderating their contact with potentially dangerous chemicals.

Several wholesalers of baby clothes also make a range of organic items or you can find retailers entirely dedicated to organic baby fashion. Thankfully, there are a lot of marks to choose from and all ages are provided for, from infants to teenagers. Naturally, organic clothing for men and women is also obtainable and I am looking into that for myself and my man.

I do not think that I am only going to purchase organic cotton or bamboo clothing (which is a great alternative to regular or organic cotton) for my children but I am definitely going try to whenever possible.
