Before I had my first child, I never thought I would join a mothers group. However, now that I am a mum, chatting to other women about what is going on in my life has really helped me. No or less use of insecticides and synthetic fertilisers means less pollution of our farms and waterways, reduced cancers for farm workers, and fewer health risks for our children by reducing their contact with toxic chemicals.
