Long before I had my first child, I had not thought I would be part of a mothers group. However, now that I have become a mum, talking to other women about what is taking place in my life has benefited me immensely. Getting organic clothing means you are purchasing clothes which have been produced in an eco-friendly manner, or at a minimum in a way which causes less contamination of soils and waterways. No or a reduction in the use of insecticides and fertilizers means less pollution of our farms and lakes, fewer cancers for farm employees, and fewer health risks for our babies and children by lessening their contact with dangerous chemicals.

I would not go as far to say that I am just going to buy organic cotton or bamboo clothing (which is an amazing alternative to regular or organic cotton) for my children but I am without a doubt going try to whenever possible.
