Organic Baby Clothes WEBSTER

Long before I had my baby, I had not believed I would be part of a mothers group. Anyhow, now that I am finally a mother, being able to talk to other parents about what is happening in my life has benefited me immensely. We discuss how we bring up our children, what to do and not to do, we share recipes, and we love to talk about the newest baby fashions we have purchased.

I more often than not meet with 2 other parents, once a month, to find out the latest happenings. We usually meet at Bunkhouse Motel & Steakhouse (which is in WEBSTER, SD) as that is pretty central for all of us. Last week was particularly interesting seeing we talked about organic baby clothing. I have been giving my baby organic produce from the beginning but I had never thought about buying organic clothing for her.

Cotton is one of the most broadly grown plants in the US and one of the most ruinous to the habitat and to farm employees. The run off from these farms has ruined ecosystems and especially water ways. Organic produce is made without the need for artificial fertilisers and pesticides. Alternatively, organic farming depends on things like crop rotation, raising the quality of soils naturally, and using eco friendly pest control techniques.

You can buy organic baby clothes online from a number of retailers. Sckoon is my favourite for organic baby apparel.

Benefits of Choosing Organic Products

Getting organic clothing means you are getting produce which have been produced in an eco-friendly manner, or at the very least in a way which causes less pollution of soils and waterways. No or reduced use of insecticides and fertilisers means less pollution of our land and lakes, fewer cancers for farm workers, and fewer health risks for our children by reducing their contact with potentially dangerous chemicals.

Quite a few wholesalers of baby clothes also make a range of organic clothes or you can find shops entirely devoted to organic baby clothes. Either way, there are a lot of designs to choose from and all ages are catered for, from infants to older children. Obviously, organic clothing for men and women is also accessible and I am looking into that for myself and my husband.

I would not go as far to say that I am just going to purchase organic cotton or bamboo clothes (which is an amazing alternative to regular or organic cotton) for my child but I am without a doubt going try to whenever I can.
