Organic Baby Clothes VIRGINIA BEACH

Back before I had my children, I never thought I would be part of a mothers group. Be that as it may, now that I have become a new mother, being able to talk to other mothers about what is taking place in my life has really helped me. We talk about how we deal with our children, what to do and not to do, we share recipes, and we enjoy being able to discuss the most recent baby fashions we have purchased.

I usually meet with 2 other parents, once a week, to find out the latest gossip. We usually meet at Shadow's (which is in VIRGINIA BEACH, VA) as that is quite central for all of us. Last week was particularly exciting seeing we talked about organic baby clothes. I have been feeding my baby girl organic produce from day one but I had never thought about buying organic clothing for her.

Cotton is one of the most widely grown crops in America and one of the most harmful to the habitat and to farmers. The run off from these farms has damaged the environment and particularly water bodies. Organic produce is produced without using artificial fertilisers and chemicals. Rather, organic farming relies on things like crop rotation, enhancing soils naturally, and using organic pest control practices.

Benefits of Organic Clothing

Getting organic produce means you are buying products which have been produced in an eco friendly manner, or at least in a way which causes less contamination of our habitat. No or less use of pesticides and synthetic fertilisers means less pollution of our land and rivers, fewer cancers for farm employees, and fewer health risks for children by reducing their contact with potentially dangerous chemicals.

Several makers of baby clothes also produce a range of organic clothes or you can find wholesalers completely dedicated to organic baby clothes. Either way, there are a lot of marks to choose from and all ages are catered for, from infants to adolescents. Naturally, organic fashion for men and women is also obtainable and I am looking into that for myself and my man.

I am not saying that I am just going to buy organic cotton or bamboo cotton clothing (which is a good alternative to regular or organic cotton) for my children but I am absolutely going try to whenever possible.
