Before I had my first child, I never believed I would be part of a mothers group. Anyhow, now that I am finally a new mother, chatting to other mothers about what is taking place in my life has really helped me. We talk about how we deal with our children, what to do and not to do, we share baby food recipes, and we love to talk about the newest baby clothes we have purchased.
I more often than not go out with 2 other parents, once a week, to hear about the latest new. Buying organic clothing means you are purchasing produce which have been produced in an eco-friendly manner, or at least in a way which causes less damage to the environment. No or less use of pesticides and fertilizers means less pollution of our soils and waterways, reduced diseases for farm employees, and fewer health risks for our babies and children by lessening their contact with dangerous chemicals.

Thankfully, there are a lot of marks to choose from and all ages are catered for, from toddlers to adolescents. I would not go as far to say that I am just going to purchase organic cotton or bamboo clothing (which is a fantastic alternative to regular or organic cotton) for my child but I am definitely going try to whenever it is available.
